It integrates an extensive database of real-world job listings and refined job description templates, ensuring that its outputs are tailored and suitable for a ministry setting, unlike more generalized AI models.

The Job Description Generator offers two primary modes, accessible via a toggle switch — generating either a Job Description or a Job Title.
Generate a Job Description 📝
Use this mode to effortlessly create a comprehensive job description by providing just two inputs: a job title and a set of keywords outlining the key responsibilities for the position.
Our AI model processes these prompts, combining them with its library of church job listings and templates to deliver a succinct yet detailed job description. This output is automatically formatted for use in job listings or employee handbooks.
To generate a job description, go to your Dashboard. Under the Applications section, click on Job Description Generator.
Click on Job Description, enter the job title and a summary of the employee's responsibilities and click Generate Description.
Note: When you check off the box "Use the size of my church to fine-tune my results," the resulting job description will be based off of the saved church in your Church Profile.
Our AI will automatically generate the Job Description Template. You can copy/paste this template into any text editor like Microsoft Word and make any adjustments you'd like! Note that this will not be saved anywhere directly in your ChurchSalary account- you must copy/paste it into another document in order to save it for later.
Generate Job Titles 🗒️
If you already have a job description written up for a particular employee, this mode can essentially do the reverse function of the Generate Job Description tool to suggest appropriate job titles for that employee that are pulled from real entries in the Church Job Finder database.
To generate a job description, go to your Dashboard. Under the Applications section, click on Job Description Generator.
Click on Job Title and describe the role you'd like to generate a job title for, then click Generate Title Suggestions.
A list of suggestions will be generated. You can click the copy/paste button to copy the list of suggested Job Titles and paste them into another document. Note that this will not be saved anywhere directly in your ChurchSalary account- you must copy/paste it into another document in order to save it for later.
Underlying Technology and Data Integrity 🔒
The Job Description Generator is powered by Gloo AI's tools and APIs and uses a vast database of job listings from Church Job Finder. The AI is trained on existing job descriptions and titles from real churches, and so the titles and descriptions that are generated content will specifically align with the language and context of church employees around the country.
To maintain privacy and security, the application automatically removes and excludes any identifying information related to the churches that originally created the job listings on Church Job Finder.
This includes sensitive details such as church names, cities, states, size categories, denominations, and specific salary and benefits information from job postings. You also have the option to allow or revoke permission for the app to use your organization's size as part of the AI prompt, which lets you fine-tune results based on your church's size.
