Keeping your account details and subscription settings up to date helps ensure a smooth experience on ChurchSalary 3.0. Whether you need to change your name, update your login email, or adjust your subscription plan, this guide will walk you through the basics.
If you are migrating from ChurchSalary 2.0, ensure your account is activated on the new ChurchSalary 3.0 by using the same email address linked to your previous account. This process includes setting up your profile and adding details for your church and employees. Navigate to the new ChurchSalary site (new.churchsalary.com), click Log In, and enter the email associated with your previous account. Then, complete the setup process by creating a profile, which includes details for your church and one employee.
Managing My Profile
Activating and Renewing Accounts on ChurchSalary 3.0 Migrating users from ChurchSalary 2.0 can activate their accounts and renew memberships by creating an account with the previous version's email and completing profile setup. Follow these steps to ensure your membership is active and accessible. If you encounter issues where your subscription is not recognized, ensure you log in with the correct email and complete the setup process by adding your Church Profile and Employee Profile. Completing these steps will ensure that all features are available with your active membership.
Managing Migrated Data
ChurchSalary 3.0 allows you to manage data and reports migrated from version 2.0 with the following tools:
View saved reports in your Dashboard.
Convert saved reports into employee profiles using the Migrate Employees button.
Use converted employee profiles to quickly generate new salary reports. A tutorial for navigating these features is available on the new platform.
You can change the name that shows on your account or the email you use to log in by clicking on My Profile.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Subscription Recognition Problem
If you are asked to subscribe again despite having a paid membership, ensure you:
Log in with the email linked to your previous account.
Complete your Church Profile and Employee Profile setup.
Check the Reports section to access saved reports and ensure active membership. For additional support, refer to the FAQs on ChurchSalary 3.0 Migration.

Managing My Subscription
Hover over your name in the top right corner, then click My Subscription.
Enter your billing email address for ChurchSalary 3.0 and click Send. Note that if you have changed the email address used to log into ChurchSalary 3.0 under My Profile, this does not affect the billing email address. The email address initially used to create the account will be needed to sign in here.
A link to log into your billing portal will be emailed to you. Click the link you receive in that email.
Once signed in, you can complete any of the 4 actions below.
Upgrade or downgrade your subscription level
To change your subscription level, click Update Subscription.
Select the subscription tier you would like to change to- note that the price shown at the bottom is the total price of that new subscription tier. Click Continue.
The next page will show 2 different prices. First, the total price of the new subscription will be shown (1), along with the next billing date. All ChurchSalary 3.0 accounts are annual, and upgrading/downgrading the membership will not change your annual billing date.
The second price will be the "amount due today" (2). If you are upgrading your subscription partway through your current billing period, the price you pay today to upgrade will be prorated so that you are only paying for the remainder of the year.
Click Confirm to complete the change.
Cancel your subscription
To cancel your subscription, click Cancel Subscription.
The next page will confirm your current subscription. Click Cancel Subscription to finalize.
Important Note: When you cancel your ChurchSalary 3.0 subscription, you will maintain access through the end of your current billing period, and no refund will be issued. Please review our Cancellation and Refund Policies for more information.
Change your billing information
Click Add payment method to add a new credit card, or click the x next to a card to remove it. Note that if you have an active subscription, you must have at least 1 card on file.
Or, to update your billing information, click Update Information.
Update any necessary information and click Save. Note that the information here is only for billing purposes, and will not affect what is displayed on your ChurchSalary 3.0 account. To change that information, view the section above on Managing My Profile.
View and download previous invoices
A full history of your previous invoices will be shown at the bottom of the screen. Simply click on any invoice to view or download it.
